The only Series on Sydney Harbour that races almost every week of the year! Be on deck at MHYC every Wednesday for a great afternoon of networking and racing (non spinnaker) on Sydney Harbour. Racing commences at 1330hrs (during daylight saving and 1300hrs (outside of daylight saving). Back at the club gather your crew and friends for a BBQ, trivia quiz and raffles, on the deck of the Harbourview Room. Enter for the entire year, each series (4) or casually each week. Looking for Crew? Or wanting to Crew?
For any skippers who are looking for new crew or just need that extra crew member, there are several options available to ensure your competitiveness in the Wednesday Series. The Sailing Office is always available to help with your crew requests and has an extensive database of persons who have indicated their interest in crewing opportunities.
The most effective and popular method is picking up crew from the Breezeway on the Saturday mornings prior to the race. Crew can leave their details on the Crew Board vice versa with boats requiring crew. Feature Events Series
MHYC holds special Feature Events during the Spring and Summer months. They are the perfect way to take that step into competitive but social racing, fine tune your sailing skills and meet other Club Members. Racing is in various formats, with a variety of entertaining and challenging courses. Events are held through out the year, and provide a great social atmosphere for which the MHYC beach is famous.
Feature Event Series
Inshore Series
The complete Inshore Racing Series for Club sailors, September - April. Consisting of a Spring Series, Summer Series and an Annual Series, racing formats include Inshore Harbour and Sprints racing. Fleet starts from 1300hrs on the Sound of Sydney Harbour. Results and handicaps are performance based (PHS) with divisions for mixed classes and One Design (ie Admas 10m & J24). YA Special Regulations Cat 7. Boats may select to fly Spinnaker or Non-Spinnaker.

Twilight Series
Nothing beats the social atmosphere and enjoyment of MHYC Twilight Non-Spinnaker Racing on Thursday nights during Daylight Saving. Racing is scheduled from early October through to late March. Muliple Divisions, from a Blazer 23 to Frerrs 60. 6:00pm pursuit start from the Club House with Post Race Entertainment on the beach front. Beach BBQ and restaurant meals are available from Harbourview Bar and Bistro. YA Special Regulations Cat 7.

Racing
- 1800 Club House Handicapped Pursuit Start, countup system.
- Pump Station Start Line or Club House Finish Line.
- Allocation to divisions shall be decided by the Race Committee.
- Marina Arms C and D T-Heads shall be used for the purpose of collecting and dropping off guests/crew only. No berthing will be permitted to allow access for all members and their guests.
Post race entertainment, Weekly music from 7:30pm, BBQ and presentation from approx. 2030hrs.
