Centreboard Club Racing
MHYC has a proud tradition of developing young sailors through a range of programs and racing. Sunday Centreboard Racing provides a fun competitive environment and is part of young sailors developing their skills. MHYC has supported a number of classes to be raced under its banner and that form part of the pathway into its senior yachting. Currently the Optimist class is the focus of centreboard racing at MHYC, but the 420, Flying 11, 29er and other classes are welcome. Racing is conducted on Sundays as scheduled year round.
